We often worry about our teen - whether he is completing schoolwork, engaging in activities which could bring him pain, or focusing on his future. How many of us have lost sleep worrying about our teen? I would go as far as to say that the parent of every teen has lost sleep worrying at some point.
As we approach Thanksgiving, we should give thanks for our teen. In spite of the worries, our teen has given us many days of joy. We should never let our fears drown out our joy for our teen. As parents we sometimes forget about the good times when we have concerns.
Think about the blessings your teen has brought you. Be sure to let him know how thankful you are for him this holiday season.
