ONE WEEK AND COUNTING
Christmas is one week from today. Many teens and their family members were shopping today for gifts. This week will be busy with wrapping gifts and preparing for the holiday. Everyone gets so busy this time of year with the "busyness" of the season. How do you handle this with your teen? Many families get very focused on trying to do everything to make their teen happy with material goods this season. This year try to spend time pointing out to your teen the importance of the season for you and your family. Through all the busyness, try to spend a few minutes each day talking with your teen. Help them with their tasks and help them make time to relax and just soak in the beauty of the season.
Trying to work on finding balance in this last week before the holiday is not easy – but is well worth it!
